Correction: The glass marbles with the wavy lines weren’t the cat’s eyes- cats eyes were black ceramic marbles with a slice of bright colour running pole to pole.

One of my favorite things to find when digging in landscapes downtown are marbles! There's something so wonderfully cheery about finding these colorful glass orbs. I can't help but think of the games, hunt for flat surfaces, and kids who scattered marbles everywhere in a heated battle of playing for keeps.
Buttons are pretty cool too, but they don't evoke the same latent giddy emotions. Found these two oldies today 😍
