#MarchMeetTheMaker : My Brand Origin

Meet my Little Grace #SpinningWheel.

She is a beautiful little wheel. But she is special to me because she belonged to my Mum. I remember watching her spin as a child.

She died 6 years ago, but she feels closer when I am at her wheel. And I have fallen in love with this craft too.

& Something I've learned is to follow what you love and you will find joy in what you make.

And so Little Grace Yarn was born.

We moved to Glasgow at the end of 2012. I signed on while looking for work and my Job Advisor asked what could I do & had I thought of going self-employed.

10 years later...

Thinking of a business name was hard.

I'm sat there pulling my hair out "Something Crafts" when my daughter walked through with her Ceefer Cat and the light bulb lit up.

The first dress I ever made, a copy of a dress I liked, hand sewed at the time.
