I like that bit about how the full name was the March on Washington *for Jobs and Freedom* (emphasis added). One of the things I admire about #MartinLutherKing Jr. was that he saw the connections between poverty, militarism, and racism, and fought against all three.

Also, I'd known Bayard Rustin was gay, and critical in the Civil Rights Movement, but I'd assumed he was in the closet! Wow, TIL better. #history
