Listening to #MarcRiley's show as per usual at this time. Got his Who is on my tee shirt? competition, after the fifth clue. But I don't think anyone will get it wrong after that one. Especially if you're a fan of either of the two geniuses alluded to in that clue. Marc and I both are, but he seems to prefer one and I prefer the other one.

I'm pretty sure I've got today's #AnagramSam right. Won't spoil other people's fun by posting what I think it is. But it looks like the right letters, and the clues fit too. Not my favorite song though. Not a fan of the band. Surprised #MarcRiley gives them the time of day to be honest.

Few days ago #MarcRiley said 'I can see a segue-way coming on'. Said it in response to a new song called Plastic Man. I knew what he was suggesting: The Fall's How I wrote Plastic Man, which he's just played before playing this new record. I wondered if Marc would be allowed to play that record as he plays on it. I have noticed he usually plays Fall song's from after he was kicked out. I rely on Gideon Coe to hear most of the earlier masterpieces.

Listening to #MarcRiley's show. The reason I posted Venus by Tom Verlaine's Television was because I had just heard at the start of his show that he had died, apparently on Saturday. But I never heard this until today. There's been tributes on the other place, but were there any on Mastodon? I think we need to understand that until we secure a critical mass of contributors that other site will continue to pose us problems. People use it as we can't rely on the mainstream media.

Listening to my recording of #MarcRiley's show from last night. Been ages since I got his "Who's on my tee-shirt?" contest. Not heard the answer yet, but if I wasn't asleep when broadcast live I'd definitely have got it. Especially since most of what I posted on Mastodon before going to bed early was youtube videos from their albums. #ThePixies obviously.

Was listening to the recording of last night's #MarcRiley show, which I loved. Show just ended and I was taken immediately to BBC6Music. It's recording but although I set it to record Blur Live what's actually on is John Lydon apparently on the First Time interviews. Don't mind recording this instead and it's good stuff. He's one guy who's never made a single or record I don't like since 1976. I wish he wasn't a Donald Trump fan though.

While I'm compiling lists for Mastodon on my favorite things, #MarcRiley has just referred to the latest band his ex Fall compadre have joined. A second band of ex Fall members. The last one was the Extricated led by Mark E Smith's ex wife Brix Smith. The new one has their first guitarist and Blue Orchids frontman Martin Bramah. Marc keeps rubbishing his ability to play but he's being modest. Hope he spends some time in the new band too.

I used to listen to #MarcRiley's show Monday to Thursday 7pm to 9pm live. But over the last few months I've been in bed a lot when he's on. That's not my only excuse for almost never getting his anagram sam and 'Who's on my tee shirt?' competitions right very often. But it's one of them. Listening to yesterday's recording now. And enjoying it as per usual. Surely I can't be his only listener on Mastodon? Nobody reading this like to admit they're addicted too? Hope he sets an account up here soon

I need to buy more powereful speakers. Every now and then I feel the need to turn the sound up full volume when one of my favorite songs turns up to then remember I did that two hours ago and never found any excuse to turn it down again. #MarcRiley

When people ask me what I miss about living in England, I always talk about the ease of #travel the amount of #vacationtime one gets, and event he overall culture.

What I really miss?? Listening to radio while cooking, eating dinner, doing laundry. American radio is soulless, bland & repetitive. I want to hear something that makes me go oooh rather than boo. Most things make me go boo.
