And the first round editing is DONE!!!! Marella is being sent off to my editor, CP, and betas today!!! Oh, gods, why am I always so nervous at this point?!

If everything goes well, we're looking at an early August release. If there are lots of amendments, then we'll have to see.

Okay, so maybe I haven't finished Marella by my self-imposed deadline but I'm certainly getting there and very pleased with the result. Six chapters done today and I'm getting quite close to the end. It will be done next week for sure!

Only two chapters done today. Either there were a lot of errors or being at the doctor's took longer than expected, or it took me longer to get into the right mindset after the visit. I'll let you decide! It's still 2 more done though, so I'm happy. Let's see what tomorrow brings.

Good morning, my lovelies. It's WEDNESDAY. I started on my walk this morning... got to the end of the path and my skin was already bubbling, so I turned around and came back home. Vampire mode-activated!

Today, I'm going to be reading through a manuscript for my CP before I start the edits on Marella, plus other fun book-related stuff.

Well, I only managed 800 words today, but I did manage to mow my meadow.

I was doing #NoMowMay but usually, when I do that, I have a #MowInApril before it starts. It was too wet this year, so I've had a proper meadow! Unfortunately, my old mower doesn't cope too well with very long grass so it had to be done. My skin is now red and oozing with my lips all swollen up due to my allergies. Botox, anyone?

My word count is better today & I'm happy. Not only did I manage to write 1.5k but I also made some new teasers for Of Land and Sky, as well as doing a little bit of research.

I also got other things done. It's been a full-on day & I'm looking forward to some R-n-R with a good book this evening. I'm currently reading Welsh Witchcraft by Mhara Starling and thoroughly enjoying it.

Even with a trip to the Library, I've managed to add 1.8k to Marella's story. The seasons are moving along nicely, although I will admit to feeling cold when writing about a snowstorm and being out in it! LOL Now to see what tomorrow will bring.

1.6k added today and it's nearly at 90k!!! Don't worry, it will get trimmed when it gets edited, but still! This is why I wanted to do a rewrite. Young Marella deserved more than a paltry 20k introduction.
