Late afternoon treat from the Special Collections of @durham_uni@instinctd.com, continuing our recent run of #MarginalDoodles: a manuscript codex containing works by a distinctly apprehensive-looking Thomas Hoccleve, written in his own hand between 1421 and 1426, intended as a presentation copy for Joan Beaufort, Countess of Westmorland.
