- #OpenProject a l'air de bien prendre, il va y avoir une réunion pour présenter le produit et ses avantages pour le suivi des différents projets
- #Nextcloud : notre fer de lance actuellement, de plus en plus d'utilisateurs, de plus en plus de modules additionnels
- #Grafana : demande issue d'un besoin de modéliser des flux #sankey simplement (il y a une BDD #MariaDB pour stocker les données à traiter)

If anyone happens to know a tcpdump (or similar) invocation which will tell me the #MariaDB user name from an incoming (non-SSL) connection that would be handy.
I did a quick search and didn't find much. Everyone seems to want to be able to extract the actual query, but I don't care about that (I can turn on full query log if I care).

A fateful move from MariaDB to MySQL for my Ghost blog put me on a path to a database collation train wreck. 😱

I scheduled today to migrate my #mariadb server cluster from traditional multi-master replication to GTID-based multi-master. Upon researching and learning, I discovered #Galera and the benefits over the GTID method. I like it so far, and it *seems* super easy to setup.. but that may well be a tomorrow thing.

Spent more time than expected to optimize COUNT queries in #PostgreSQL in the last two weeks.
This was very surprising to me as I mostly work with #MySQL and #MariaDB.
But I achieved a speed-up of 150-550% in parts of my customers #NeosCMS application with small adjustments and not using the ORM.
Happy but somehow also disappointed that this is necessary.

Question to #sysadmin out there: I regularly get #mariadb #oom-killed by Proxmox on LXC containers.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it MariaDB-related? LXC-related?

If I shut down a 32-bit x86 #MariaDB (or #MySQL) instance, boot it with an amd64 kernel and then install 64-bit MariaDB, will the data files (innodb) still work or will it have to be dumped and restored?
