i just read about #whamageddon and #mariahpocalypse and, basically, i lose both in november of any year. don't bet on me

@frostyw I've had so many near misses this year. I heard it two days before #whamageddon started and thought I lost my win streak before double-checking the rules.

Then I heard Taylor Swift's cover of it on December 1. Was like "oh, this is actually good."

Also managed to avoid #mariahgeddon (or #mariahpocalypse) so far.

@TJJohn12 I succumbed to #whammageddon yesterday, but still in the race for #mariahpocalypse. I believe.

Welp. I've avoided #Mariahpocalypse in the stores, but when my niece came home this weekend and I went out in her car, guess what was the first thing on her playlist? 😐

I wonder if anyone has done a scientific paper correlating the rise of #online #holiday #shopping with the rise of folks participating in #Whamageddon and #Mariahpocalypse. Just sayin'.

(I've avoided both dreaded tracks in retail outlets so far. SO. FAR. But it's only a matter of time and I know it.)
