It’s got entries on all the climbing crags in GA, and and also seeing interesting entries of geology facts in Atlanta itself, like Marta stations and old historic building with stone from local quarries…

On Saturday I drove past the Big Chicken coming from a direction that I don’t normally take and I decided to stop and snap some pics as a reference for a possible graphic project in the future. Normally when I drive past this thing, the view is cluttered with power lines, stop lights, and traffic. I’ve never actually been inside tho 🙃

I went on a leisurely 20 mile #bicycle ride today, with my halfway point being the #Marietta Square. I also watched two cars completely ignore the flashing lights of this crosswalk and speed right on through while someone tried to cross.

Also I found this page M2R Art festival for 2023 that looks pretty interesting. Back in 2021 I rode my longboard skateboard on the M2R and thought it was cool to see all the art along the way

I just drove by and noticed that the last gap in the Mountain-to-River Trail between #Smyrna and #Marietta is under construction! Soon you'll be able to get from Marietta all the way down to the Paces Mill Recreation Area on the Chattahoochee by bike without going into car traffic! I reached out to Cobb to ask for a construction timeline. Any info others have would be appreciated.

It was a beautiful day for the Marietta Gathering fest at the Square today. I found my friends from the Maker Station there and parked my bike in front of their booth and it fit right in. It was also cool to see a booth with caricature artist that seemed to stay busy, it reminded my of seeing caricature artists in the city park back when I was a little kid
