With the new #NSO update, I'm revisiting what is - I think - one of the low-key best Mario Kart games.

This game takes the Mode Seven layout of the original and amps up the creativity to 11 - making for one of the cleanest and most satisfying Mario Kart experiences out there.

It's oddly aged better than even Mario Kart 64 (which is dear to me) - though ranking them against each other (and other entries) would be quite the undertaking.
