Mircroreseñas #6 – Sega Soccer Slam (gc)

Antes de #MarioStrikers existieron muchos juegos que trataban de volver la experiencia del futball (O soccer como lo conocen los gringos/anglosajones). Mucho mas arcade enfocada en el gameplay y otras prepuestas con mecánicas de fantasía… (Y llego Fifa y se cargo todo ese tema... Mas motivos para que deteste esa franquicia xd). Sega Soccer Slam fue una de esas propuestas mas arcade donde se trataba de traer esa jugabilidad a la sexta generación de consolas, sumado a que Sega estaba incursionando como empresa que solo hacia juegos después de su caída que culmino con Dreamcast.

Este titulo lo pude jugar hace poco y la verdad me a sorprendido tiene un nivel de dificultad decente, así como tiene mecánicas de juego bastante interesantes. Controlaremos a 3 jugadores por equipo y cada uno tendrá sus habilidades particulares, como: mayor control de pelota, velocidad o defensa, así como sus propios tiros especiales. Aunque las mecánicas del juego son buenas, falla un poco al no tener un tutorial como tal, así que mucho se tendrá que aprender a prueba y error. Aunque eso no le quita que es una interpretación exagerada del balón pie que le suma muchos puntos a gusto personal.

No hay una historia profunda, es un montón de jugadores de alrededor del mundo que se han juntado para un torneo mundial, cada equipo representa diferentes regiones del mundo como: centro América, sur América, norte América, partes de Europa y demás… Los personajes a día de hoy podrían ser considerados ofensivos o estereotipos andantes para muchos jugadores, de ser así alejate del juego hablamos de una propuesta de 2002. Pero si por el contrario te da igual y solo quieres pasar un rato agradable, este es tu juego y te llevaras varias risas por las interpretaciones de los países que están en el titulo. Las animaciones de muchos personajes caen en lo ridículo a lo “Jojos...” (Osea que esta todo muy exagerado), pero eso es lo que le da bastante carisma al titulo.

La música es decente sumado a que hay varios temas que si pondría en mi playlist, a pesar de ser un juego con 20 años de existencia me sorprendió como dije por que una vez que aprender las mecánicas sumado a lo que requiere el titulo, este se vuelve muy divertido y hasta desafiante. Los partidos son cortos y como en muchas propuestas de futball exageradas no hay reglas... !Vale Todo!. Esta de mas decir que se le saca mucho jugo tanto en su experiencia individual, como en multijugador. En ambos casos es muy divertido, sin embargo prefiero el multijugador por que a manera personal siento que se explota mas el ridículo con amigo a tu lado.

El juego se nota que serviría de inspiración para futuras propuestas como Mario Strikers, Fifa Street, entre otros juegos destacados de ese rubro, a día de hoy me sigue pareciendo un juego muy solido por su gameplay y apartado artístico. Sumado a que viene de una era donde no importaba tener nombres importantes en un juego de futball, solo importaba el absurdo de tener un juego divertido. Si eres fan de esas propuestas viejas como: “Nintendo World Cup”, “Nekketsu High School Dodgeball Club: Soccer” o propuestas mas recientes como los “Mario Strikers”, o juegos de deportes exagerados. Definitivamente te va gustar.
