This evening the Halle Orchestra conducted by Mark Elder perform an all Russian programme at the BBC Proms. Looking forward to this one.

On Radio 3 this evening at 7.30. Mark Elder and the Halle perform 'The Apostles' by Elgar. We attended all three of the Elgar oratorios performed by the Halle in Manchester,IMO this was the best of the three. World class soloists in Coote and Williams. Special mention for the Halle choir,nailed us to the back of the Hall!
