Mark Lanegan Band - Bubblegum
Supposedly Lanegan's most popular album, but if people liked this, you'd think they'd like the rest - he obviously loved the blues, and that love was fueled by his addictions and lifestyle.
He was a great writer, too, with lyrics that sketched his striving and sadness. Later, he'd collaborate with Isobel Campbell (3 albums) and co-wrote the No Reservations theme with Josh Homme.
And then, in 2022, gone, like so many others.
