@0xba jo das klingt interessant, bin ich auch schon drüber gestolpert. Ist sicher auch viel eine viel modernere Lösung. Sphinx ist ja noch kein #deepLearning sondern basiert auf einem #markovChain Ansatz.

Chu and Hough have determined how many steps it takes to randomize (for two definitions of "random") a 15 sliding puzzle, by analysis of the transition matrix of the #MarkovChain modelling the process. Turns out to be way greater than predicted by Diaconis, who originally proposed this problem in 1988.
