I came across a great markdown editor recently.

It's called
@marktextapp. Marktext, an MIT licensed open source project, has some cool features such as typewriter mode, focus mode, beautiful themes, TOC, and speed.

Al momento quello che mi convince maggiormente è #MarkText. 🤓

The ODF file formats like .odt used by Libreoffice and more are just ZIP files containing a XML file and attachments.

Is there an equivalent for #Markdown containing one or more .md files and media like images? For example .mz extension but it's a just a ZIP.

It would be exported by Markdown editors and imported by online publishing services, for example.
I searched but I can't find anything. Please reshare

By default is WYSIWYG but you can switch to the plain Markdown view.

The advanced features have to do with editing, like LaTeX formulas or the table editor. And it is #FOSS 🙂

Egal, was ich ausprobiere und wie schick die Tools zum #Verwalten von #Notizen sind, am Ende kehre ich immer wieder zurück zu #MarkText, #Zettlr und #Markor. Alle drei sind schlicht, bieten eine gewisse Flexibilität und arbeiten mit #Markdown. Und sie benötigen keine #Cloud oder irgendeinen Account, um irgendwelche Funktionen freizuschalten.

I never really got the excitement around #markdown (as a non-coder) on #linux. Just until I found the #marktext app on #flathub a couple of days ago. Wow. Just fits in perfectly for making quick notes on my computer where I would have used plain text files before.

@ojala I find #markdown with #latex support and instant rendering a pretty much good user experience. I use #MarkText editor.

I tried TeXmacs which was supposed to be a replacement to LaTeX but it didn’t stick. You have to remember a lot of hot keys to get a good #UX from TeXmacs.

Since I'm on a #FOSS instance, I thought I'll share the top 5 #foss tools I use & recommend:

1. #JuliaLang:For Computational Modeling & Data Science

3. #MarkText: WYSIWYG Markdown Editor
