"The 639-foot Great Lakes freighter Mark W. Barker grounded Wednesday on Belle Isle on the Detroit River, but was later refloated without incident.

The Mark W. Barker is known for the being the first U.S.-flagged Great Lakes bulk carrier to be built in nearly 40 years."
