I wanted to share these photos with you from an Iggy Pop/Jane’s Addiction show in 1988 that I was lucky to attend on a brief visit to Nashville after moving to Berkeley, CA.
Former Sex Pistol Steve Jones played guitar in Iggy’s band.
I have no idea who is standing by the “marquee” but the Cannery was a place to see touring bands when they came through Music City “back in the day”
It was a wild, unforgettable night-including the blurry parts…

Love photos of old theater marquees and this one is particularly appealing to me. It is advertising a favorite of mine: “Pillow to Post” (1945), starring Ida Lupino, Sydney Greenstreet and William Prince. “The Year’s Top Laff Riot”
