Continuing examination of #MarshInWinter. Trying to understand how our local water engineers (aka #Beavers) are managing water levels by controlling water movement through their underground lodge. This is a cropped 20mm #Hyperfocal shot, processed in #DarkTable. We are restoring this #Wetland and hope to entice the ‘water engineers’ to construct a satellite wetland east of this marsh. After years in academia using expensive, proprietary licensed software, I am slowly migrating over to #OpenSourceSoftware. Will try to transition my main research workstation to #Ubuntu later this week.
