My partner and I prefer gin martinis, stirred, not shaken.
A bartender in Kichijouji, Tokyo Ward, Japan, taught us this lesson.
Shaken yields cloudy ice-milk.
Stirred, you get clear as water cocktail.

Not much on tap for today. I'll make it a day of rest. The #NHLBruins are on at 1pm, so I'll sit back and watch them take on the #NHLLightning. Going to turn into a cold rainy day and evening, so it doesn't look good for #martinis by the #firebowl this evening. R flew to #DisneyWorld this morning, lucky girl. She'll be back Monday night. 90s and sunny there. Must be nice, amirite?

The #cocktail of the night is (surprise!) a #martini . We've been spending our Saturday nights by the fire, sipping Bombay Gin / Noilly Pratt vermouth #martinis since the girls were little. We are nothing if not creatures of routine. It's still ridiculously warm for a #NewEngland November, but the fun ends tomorrow and it's down into the 40a for a high on Monday.
