I’ve started keeping an audiobook going for my commute and chores around the house where I can’t be looking at my book. Right now that’s #MaryBalogh and the second book of her Survivor’s Club series, The Arrangement. I’m only a few chapters in after I abandoned a different book I won’t name. I’m trying Balogh after @toosharpbyhalf gave her a good recommendation.

I've read lots of #MaryBalogh lately. What I love is how well drawn and specific her characters are, how they open up to each other about their pain, and how they complete each other like jigsaw pieces. You feel in your bones they belong together.
This #FakeMarriage romance starts out looking like a tiresome tale of a man betting he can seduce a woman but then undercuts that awful premise and gives the women total agency. Loved it!
