Yesterday was another brewery adventure day, hitting breweries that I had not been to yet. The first my wife and I headed to was #SpringfieldManor. I got myself the 8 Lives IPA, we sat outside at a table with an umbrella, and relaxed while listening to the band play. It was reasonably busy with plenty of seating. The family and I, along with some friends, walked up to #NepentheBrewing in #Baltimore, #Maryland after church. Sadly they've stopped serving brunch, but today they opened at 11 for lunch. I got myself the Spontaneous Deviations # 4 - Dry Irish Stout, which was great. The family enjoyed Mango Peach #WildBayKombucha. Last night #WinslowTechnologyGroup and #SecureNetworkTechnologies held an event at #SapwoodCellars. They gave a presentation on Zero Trust and provided us with plenty of great food, beer, and networking. The last brewery we hit on Sunday was #MobtownBrewing in #Baltimore, #Maryland. We did not have a lot of time, so I grabbed two half pours. Started with the Good Morning Mobtown, an imperial breakfast stout brewed with #BlackAcresRoastery coffee, cacao nibs, and maple. I really enjoyed this one. Sunday we headed to #GuilfordHallBrewery in #Baltimore, #Maryland to try a liter of their new nitro oatmeal stout. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside at the picnic tables. They have a beautiful full bar outside now, which was nice, but busy enough that I did not grab pictures. The oatmeal stout tasted like an oatmeal stout, which means I loved it and will definitely return for it. #MDBeer #MarylandBeer #ItsAlwaysStoutSeason

Friday night I headed to #ManorHillBrewing to try the Ill Manor'd Mother imperial coffee stout, a collaboration with #OldeMotherBrewing, and made with #DublinCoffee. This one was delightfully bitter and smooth, just like a black cup of coffee. I could definitely crack a can first thing in the morning. Followed it up with the Saison du Purpose cask with gin botanicals, which was fun to try (and to say) but would not drink regularly. #MDBeer #MarylandBeer #Maryland @beersofmastodon

Tonight I headed to #SillyYakBeer / #TwoStoryChimney in Gaithersburg for the first time. I started with the Dark Buffalo, a gluten-free porter by Silly Yak. It was smooth and dry, and a good representation of what a porter should be. I followed it up with Red Piquette, a dry cider conditioned on grapes (I believe) that actually tasted more semi-sweet than dry. I headed to #CrookedCrabBrewing for that Bourbon Barrel Aged Magically Delicious Deathslayer tonight. Followed it up with a #TownshipMeadery Fluffy Stuff, which was the sweetest and most ridiculously tasty beverage that I will never drink again. Tonight a lifelong friend came into town, so I met him at #SapwoodCellars for a few beers. Started with the Sapbucks Irish Cream, an imperial stout made with Irish cream flavored coffee. Followed it up with Cigars and Stout, a smoked vanilla imperial stout. I finished with an Unrefinery, a delicious export stout.
