So far, interacting with the locals on Mastodon has gotten me blocked three times, apparently so they can run off and hide in their little silos for positive strokes from people Just Like Them.

No wonder they're operating under the delusion that they're useful. The only thing they allow in their universes is the equivalent of mommy bringing them warm cocoa and snuggly-huggies when they step out and accidentally brush up against the real world.
