The breach mostly affected "State Supplement Program (#SSP) participants (including recipients, other members of the household and authorized representatives), MassHealth Premium Assistance members, #MassHealth Community Case Management participants, and Executive Office of Elder Affairs (EOEA) and Aging Services Access Points (ASAP) home care program consumers," the state said.

After talking with 2 different *great* customer service reps (who, alas, could not help me) and then listening to the same excruciating menu of irrelevant options on a loop for 43 minutes while "or remain[ing] on the line to speak with a representative," I have confirmed that it is impossible to cancel #MassHealth or #MassHealthConnector coverage without providing precise details on the private insurance that's replacing it. WHY???

Got an insurance card and welcome letter yesterday from a new insurer for a new plan I did not choose. Called the state this AM & learned that the "new" plan I enrolled in (checks watch) 3 weeks ago is being replaced by this one. Nobody told me. I'm now on my 3rd plan with a 3rd insurer since January 1, and I'm so relieved to be going back on employer-subsidized insurance in a week. #maHealthConnector is great but #MassHealth is a complete #CX mess. (Why are they even separate?)

There is a new circle of Hell and it's reserved for innocent people whose income fluctuates around the threshold between eligibility for ConnectorCare plans and MassHealth plans. Why can't the state better integrate the plans (or at least streamline subscriber communication) offered between these two programs? #MassHealth is saying they never got the proof of residency that my partner faxed to them and that his coverage will be discontinued; this has happened to him and to a friend of ours before and in both cases their insurance lapsed for a few months while MassHealth wasn't responding. Any advice on avoiding a lapse? I'm really anxious because our child is on my partner's plan
