While this abandoned house looks like Minas Morgul, illuminated by eerie corpse-light, it is in fact just lit up by a traffic light some ways down the road.
My girlfriend invited me to go scavenge a board or two from the old barn that was torn down yesterday - momentos of what had become a comfortable sight and friend. That old barn was a good and loyal subject in front of the camera. It will be missed.

The Belt of Venus is a natural occurring phenomenon that presents itself on the opposite side of the horizon of the fully set sun. The upper pink and lower dark blue band ay the horizon happens as the Earth's shadow is cast onto our atmosphere from the sun which is now fully set and lasts through out civil-twilight.
Also, it just looks so #%$&ing pretty.

I haven't even had a chance to post these yet. This city, #Massillon, can feel quite dead at times — typical for smaller mid-western towns. But, for me, that means a chance to capture an exquisite vibe that can be hard to find in busier locales.
