Empty timelines of new follows has been a big pet peeve of mine. I'm glad we can backfill the posts now with this package.

...Not sure if 'pots' is a typo and should be 'posts' ;)

I've just released v3 of mastodon_get_replies.

The headline feature is that it can now also backfill posts from recently followed accounts:

This addresses another issue with single user instances: When you follow a new account, their profile will be empty on your instance. This script will fetch the most recent posts of any account you've recently followed, and backfill them on your instance.

Might be more of a #MastAdmins question, but is it possible to Pascal case a user name? Can I be PuzzleTrailPaul instead of puzzletrailpaul which I imagine sounds horrendous on a screen reader?

@SDF Hi, I tried importing the list of accounts I follow from my other account @bady@aana.site. But seems like it is not working as intended, i.e. it is showing "follow requested" even for accounts that aren't locked. Any idea why? Is it due to federation delay (It's been more than 24h since I imported and only ~5% accounts got followed). Or is it because I tried to follow too many accounts (800+) at once? Has anyone reported similar issues?
