Ich drücke drauf und es werden Beiträge geladen aber es wird dann irgendwo hingesprungen. Ich muss dann wieder runterscrollen um nichts zu verpassen aber meistens weiß ich gar nicht mehr wie weit ich runterscrollen muss um dahin zu kommen wo ich vorher aufgehört habe zu lesen. Und zwischendrin ist wieder ein “Fehlende Beiträge laden”

Highly recommend using elk.zone as your browser-based Mastodon interface. Go to elk.zone and log into your account. The interface feels very familiar to this bird site refugee. #elkzone #mastadonapp #mastoUX

Would be really nice to get some white space in the #mastadonapp design. Text, icons & images are all crammed up to the screen edges and posts look like they’re running into each other. Makes it hard to read. Not as bad in the web version, so why can’t the phone app be better?

@andreazio that’s definitely best way to do it, but with my iOS client (Mastadon app) I get this message when trying to share either a map or photo I don’t think it’s our Mastadon server settings because sharing seems fun in LinkedIn.

What #mastadonapp are people using? I use mastadon > Metatext > Mastoot > and tootle, likely in that order.

I wish someone would make an #app that I could use to log into both #Twitter and Mastadon.

Story as short as possible: uploaded a few photos via my phone. No problems.

Then developed problems with the phone memory card so I moved the photos to a computer, installed a new memory card, and transferred the photos back to the phone.

Now I can't post photos here. Not even a screenshot of a photo. A circle appears than a can't upload photo message.

Is there a new file size limit?

Any ideas what's going on?

Suggestions for a fix?

Coincidence?

After looking through the Mastadon app options in the Google Play Store, Fedilab app had the highest ratings. So I bought it ($2.49).

Wow! Very nice. Very snappy on my older Moto Z Android phone. No glitches. Right away the Fedilab app was feeding up posts that were interesting to read.

Mobile web UI for Mastodon.social is excellent on Android. Tusky does a good job and if you connect to some non-federated or blocked servers it does the job well. I'm still tempted to just add web shortcuts to my home screen. #tusky #ui #android #mastadonapp

I was finally able to edit my profile pic but still no option to edit the header. Some functions must be overwhelmed right now. I just don’t have the right buttons. Maybe I’ll try from a pc instead of #MastadonApp. #GrowingPains

Don't seem to need any #MastadonApp on my phone, having a perfectly usable experience by just setting it as a 'Add to Home screen' shortcut from the Firefox mobile browser.

Still can't bloody type at any speed on a phone keyboard though... it's an age thing I think...

Is there a #MastadonApp that functions more like the website, that isn’t the official app or Metatext? I gather that I’m missing out on a lot of functionality that the web interface has but like..apps are what we do on phones and I find using the browser on my phone to be pretty cluttered and tiny so, is there a better app?
