This Masterdon thing isn't quite big enough to have enough people talk about Arsenal football. We haven't yet gone mainstream. I also don't think it's quite big enough to bring my company to either. It's a shame as it's a nicer platform.

Why does Masterdon only offer to translate some posts but not others?

I've seen some German posts offer translation and some not. Same with some Japanese posts I follow.

I use the web interface on my android phone. I can't find any settings pertaining to this issue.

Anyone got any ideas? Do I need to use a different client?

What we are seeing on #masterdon seems to me to be the beginnings of a similar exodus from Twitter to Mastodon.

I suspect it will be a slower process because of the scale of the content provider / user base. There may be a need for some usability improvements along the way, and we may see some growth pains and capacity issues...

But it feels to me that this is a mass migration that has started and will not be possible to prevent.

I've never been scared reading a book before and thought the film wasn't actually a patch on the book. FYI - I wouldn't have put a comment like this on the #birdsite for fear of irrational hatred.
