I was being a cultured #Queer, watching a Public Television adaptation of an unfinished #Georgian-era romance novel, when an aristocrat confessed to his male confidant that “most men enjoy pheasant but I prefer grouse”. I thought my English was OK but I barely figured out from context that the guy was outing himself. I suppose being obtuse was one of many necessary safety precautions back then.

My wife screams, "Fuck you, #LauraLinney!" whenever her voice comes on during #MasterpieceTheater.
It's an entirely arbitrary hatred. They look alike and my wife was an only child. So, imagined therapeutic "sisterhood" is what I think is going on.
