L'air de rien je suis en train de revisiter mes critiques envers #Ivory
Du coup j'expérimente pendant un peu de temps cette app. Pour autant je reste fidèle à #mona qui reste bien plus modulable.
Je note quelques bugs sur les sons d’ #ivory (ou alors je ne comprends rien, ce qui est possible).

Et ... autre bug visuel @ivory c'est le « Post » en haut de la fenêtre sur #MacOS (cf screen ↓)

I've been using #Calckey on and off for a month now, and although I understand the idea behind it, the business and busyness of UX/UI keep me coming back to Mastodon.

I am not in dire need of 4000 characters limit or animated emojis. I like that Mastodon keeps it simple.

I will continue paying attention to Calckey - so far, my second favorite Fediverse product because this one I'm using 😄

One of the (many) things I like of @icecubesapp is that you can add a remote #timeline. Interaction is possible and easy, just click on the post and IceCube will automagically download it and allow you to boost, favourite, reply. For smaller instances, it's a game changer. I can self-host (being owner of my data) and participate to more crowded, interesting communities.

I had a fairly popular post (for me) recently, which got roughly 100 likes and 100 reblogs. This made my notifications 🧨blow up🧨, dominating my activity list with repetitive repeats of the same post. I was very thankful that @elk consolidates the activity around a post in a compact way. I'd love to see this in @megalodon as well.

Ok, @icecubesapp has really unlocked lists for me. I’m so happy 🙏 (functionality may exist in other apps, but I didn’t find it).

Now I can intuitively create lists, add people to them, and browse them. So I can follow LOTS of people and follow people who boost A LOT and enjoy it all, but also compartmentalize the low frequency posters that I interact with a lot in an accessible space with high visibility. 🤗

I prefer a layout that’s 2 column, because it’s easier to read. To date I have not found an app that gives all the features of the web product. I’m on iOS & work on an iPad. So far I’ve tried Toot!, MasToot, and MetaText. Each is pretty good but always missing ‘just one thing.’

Particularly I want:
+ to be able to edit my post
+ to be able to get translations
+ to serve all Media as hidden. (They screw with my OCD)

Any recommendations would be appreciated.
