@pizster "Best" is very subjective :) But to start, go to the local timeline and start following people (screenshot shows the local timeline tab in the Tusky app). Follow lots now, then prune your following list down the line. People also often use the #Mastodaine hashtag on this instance, so throw that into the search and you should also find people.
