Gonna squeeze as many soups out of soup season as I can! I don't know if I've posted about zuppa toscana before but it's magnificent. Apparently it's something they serve at Olive Garden in the States, and I have no idea if this is close to the real thing but it's delicious and simple.

It really hinges on the sausages you can get - something with tonnes of fennel works well.

I used the recipe from Recipetin Eats Dinner book but there's quite a few recipes floating around.

This butter chicken took wayyyyy longer than the recipe indicted. But it was well worth it! Nick helped me out doing the naan dough, otherwise we would have eaten way later. We have this uh, quirk... we try to make dinner for right on 7pm so we can watch the channel 2 news and eat dinner. We are very elderly.
