Hmm, I noticed that I cannot add emoji's to anything. I'm using the Mastodon Android app. Anybody know why that is?

I stumbled on the Moshidon @moshidon android app for Mastodon on F-Droid and so far I think it is my favorite android client I've used so far. It's a fork of @megalodon that adds Material You.

Hadn't seen it mentioned in any lists of recommended android client so thought I'd share.

The one thing I miss in #mastodonandroidapp is the ability for it to pull following list for people on other servers.

On web you at least get link to check it out on the original server.

This makes it hard to find new people to follow via Android app.

Anyone found a good guide on the mastodon android app yet? My Google foo is failing me today. Really want to be able to set up replies to auto-unlist, also figure out the home/local/federated views... #MastodonAndroidApp

Just downloaded the #Tusky app on #Android and I'm already impressed. I've heard that the official #MastodonApps were complete rush jobs, but figured it wasn't that bad. I was mistaken.

The #TuskyApp is much more responsive than the #MastodonAndroidApp. It also allows you to schedule posts as well as add multiple profiles to the app & switch between them.

So far, it looks like creating a post with a poll in it is the only thing Tusky can't do that the official app can do.
