I stumbled on the Moshidon @moshidon android app for Mastodon on F-Droid and so far I think it is my favorite android client I've used so far. It's a fork of @megalodon that adds Material You.

Hadn't seen it mentioned in any lists of recommended android client so thought I'd share.

Allerdings habe ich da immer noch ein Problem: sobald ich den Hashtag hunderunde setze schließt sich die App unerwartet. Ich verwende den offiziellen Mastodon. Klient auf, iOS 16.3. Ich habe auch schon andere Clients probiert, dort funktioniert der # jedoch hat mir das Handling meist nicht so gut gefallen wie bei dem offiziellen Client. Kann mir jemand sagen, was hier schief läuft oder wie ich Abhilfe schaffen kann. #Hilfesuchend #MastodonApplication #MastodonClientApps

Recently switched from the official
Mastodon client on ios to Tusker, and it is making me realize how much I missed the Local and Federated timelines! It’s fun to explore all the weird stuff out there, plus find some follows to liven up my Home timeline. #tusker #ios #MastodonClientApps

I decided to try Megalodon again and I must say, it's pretty cool... In fact, after a second look, it works better than twidere while keeping the feature I love the most, which is updating the timeline without moving from the post I was reading. I think I'll stay with it for a little longer than I thought.
