Some form of Mastodon Digest is what I want in my Mastodon client natively! I'd love to see a tab for this that brings up "posts you might have missed in the last 24 hours"

integration in Mastodon's Web UI using a browser addon would make sense too, in my opinion. Just requires either porting the code to JS/wasm, or to compile a Python interpreter and cross my fingers that the Web environment contains all that's required to run #MastodonDigest 😁

I've decided to try #MastodonDigest, because after subscribing to many accounts on the Fediverse, I feel a bit of FOMO, especially from content coming from other far away time zones.

Would be neat if there was some integration with emails, or if it could output a RSS feed (each suggestion is an entry in the feed, or every digest is an entry). Until then, I'll generate it daily with a crontab, expose it on the Web and see if I can remember to consult it 🙃
