Most of the time, when I try to refresh a post or go to the comments in a thread, it takes a ludicrously long time for it to load… like, 1996 28.8k modem slow. Five minute waits are not unusual, and that’s not an exaggeration. I feel like this is not something that should be happening in 2023. So someone who followed me moved their server - now their follow icon is gray and it directs me to their new server location. But there isn’t a follow/unfollow button anymore. Anyone know what’s up with this? If I go to their new server it says they follow me, but I don’t see that on my list of followers…

Hey gang. I was trying to adjust my header in Mastodon to accommodate the way it resizes and crops both on app and in browser. Used Blender to generate the 1500x500 grid. If you have any feedback on what you see in different apps/browsers let me know. Hope this is useful for anyone! :awesome:

De onderste optie is mooi om ook in de gaten te houden hoeveel je mist.
In de meeste gevallen staat bij mij de bovenste optie aan. Ook bij filters die niet veel voorkomen. Dan is het een reminder dat t filter aan staat.

Bij ophef gebruik ik wel filters met een beperkte periode die onzichtbaar zijn. (onderste optie)

Een van de mooiste functies van Mastodon vind ik de opties die de filter functie heeft. Met het beperkt kunnen filteren van woorden kun je voorkomen dat je delen van een discussie mist als die woorden gebruikt worden, terwijl de woorden op tijdlijnen wel verborgen of gemarkeerd worden.

Je vind de filters op {server.naam}/filters
Bijvoorbeeld: mastodon.nl/filters
Of in een van de apps
