I just wanted to say how happy I am here at Mastodon. People here are decidedly human. Kind humans. Ones that are able to have a conversation without spewing propaganda. Ones that respect one another. Being here gives me hope that all isn't lost, and that there are enough of us to make the world brighter.

Please, everyone, keep this alive. We need discourse. We need kindness. We need each other.

While I won't be deactivating or deleting my account over on that other site, I have decided to delete all 28,137 tweets that I had made over the course of 11 1/2 years.

The @novalauncher account that I run there still has all of its tweets intact and nothing will change for that account.

Have you deleted your tweets or your account over there yet?
