why do i see so much stuff in my home feed from people i do not follow? and miss stuff from those i do?

ppl say there is no #algorithm here, so i will assume the site #infrastructure has not been able to handle the influx of new #users, still.

A huge number of accounts seem to have Log In issues, just as myself.
I have to access my account via the link in my e-mail.
When trying to log in with a password, it tells me it is wrong.
I can see on various Forums online this is a huge problem for Mastodon!
Fix it!!

So now that I have joined #Mastodon . EE but am writing in EN, this means that my TOOTs will inherently mess up other people's "local timeline" as the "server's" local language is EE. Oh vello...
