Nothing happened on the #MastodonMahout repository in quite a while. But I'm still working on it (an #accessibility centric #Mastodon #client), just differently at the moment.

To be able to offer translations of the #app, I rely on i18n-embed, a #rust crate that embeds the localisation resources directly into the app.

It supports both #gettext and #ProjectFluent syntax.

I'm creating a #Mastodon #client (#MastodonMahout) with a strong focus on #accessibility.

Currently I'm working on the language picker. My app makes an educated guess based on your browser's/system's language preferences which language you want to see, but you can manually change that in the app.

Where should that language picker be located?
