#MastodonOnline apparently just blocked/suspended/defederated #Aethy for "inappropriate content"- so if you're on one of these and have friends on the other you might need to change your instance to follow them again.

Looking at how these things are conducted here, without warning or even announcement, I think it's a good idea to draw a backup of your followings every week and keep that csv sheet somewhere.

In Mastodon polls, editing 'choices' resets the votes count. But editing poll 'descriptions' wouldn't reset the votes count.

I thought the issue was with the server I was on but that server’s fine. So I’ve decided to alter my plans. I’m only mirroring my toots from #mastodononline to this handle. (I was mirroring bird site posts on that handle.) I’m still mostly going to be on retro.pizza, but if I have a non-fannish thing to gripe about, I’ll come here. I’m deleting my Mastodon dot online handle.

Okay, here’s a summary of what’s happening. There’s some sort of issue with #mastodononline where I can’t see, at least, toots from smaller servers. I’m not getting this issue with mas dot to. I have a mastodon dot online account because I wanted to kinda start fresh with Mastodon and I didn’t like a handle I came up with on another Mastodon server. I went later to retro.pizza as I felt that server was better for my needs.
