A huge number of accounts seem to have Log In issues, just as myself.
I have to access my account via the link in my e-mail.
When trying to log in with a password, it tells me it is wrong.
I can see on various Forums online this is a huge problem for Mastodon!
Fix it!!

I now follow so many really interesting people on Mastodon (that are teaching about and sharing such good stuff and starting such interesting conversations) that my already bad "you have too many tabs open" problem is starting to become very unsustainable.

Yes, yes I do have an addiction to knowledge and am forever chasing that feeling of having my mind blown and a new understanding forming. Can a need/desire to understand things be pathological?

Soooo, I guess somehow my mastodon account got deleted for no apparent reason. I signed back up using the same email i signed up with originally. Fortunately i was only here for like a few weeks. I understand there are server overloads all over Mastodon. This is resulting in problems like having passwords not being recognized on different devices and being unable to do a host of other things like access settings.
Changing passwords is not an option because emails aren’t being sent.

#MastodonProblems When your trying to figure out how to make a post fit in the 500 character limit. When last week, it was like hey, there is so much more room to write.

Isn’t including a link to another post just a “manual” quote-post? It seems a client (or browser plug-in) could add this without needing the server to know anything about it. I know different apps treat how linked pages are displayed, but if the target server includes the right metadata, the “capsule” displayed could be similar to a QT #mastodonProblems
