I might be a little late to this party, but just discovered an amazing relay service for single user Mastodon servers: https://relay.fedi.buzz/. Unlike most relays which require you to ingest all the posts from all the servers on the relay, this lets you select posts by instance or by hashtag. Really cuts down on the server and bandwidth needs. Huge thanks to @astro for this awesome service. #mastodon #relay #singleuserserver #mastodonrelay

I tried joining a generic #MastodonRelay but it's just drowned my Federated timeline with uspol

I think I traded quality for quantity: previously the feed was exceptionally repetitive at least I could trust the people I follow to be following good people.
