I try to be a good person but it's easy to forget that not putting caps in multi-word hash tags makes them terrible for screen readers.

It's important like putting the captions on your images.

I will try to use more hashtags, but it's got its limits.

One idea we talked about a few months back was users designing their own algorithms for their feed. I'd like one that would show the most recent post (singular) from every person I follow. This would surface content from less frequent posters. Call it a "check in" page. This shouldn't be default, but rather a sorting option you could toggle. #feeds #algorithm #mastodonSuggestions

Mastodon’s different Toot visibility settings are great - but I’d like one more type - or am I just missing a function already there?

I quite often take part in conversations that I know probably won’t interest my small number of followers- so what I want is a setting that makes my toot visible to other people in the discussion thread, but won’t clutter my follower’s feeds. Doable? #mastodonsuggestions

Larger downloads and uploads, when suitably throttled, could be useful in adding either random "noise" to the line or alternatively to imitate regular browsing patterns when user is in fact away.

In fact even #Mastodon could increase privacy by allowing user to choose to *delay* when actions are executed. E.g. "Publish, Boost and Favourite" could have options to postpone the triggering of issued event at app or own Instance level for 1) few minutes, 2) 10-30min or 3) 1-4 hours.

i think everybody plz if possible just boost yr own post a few times on the first day you share it at least or whenever bc with the time difference and amount of posts i for one miss stuff and this way everyone is in more control of their own content.

I think it's not their fault. They just have it set to "approve all follows" and that applies even to people who they follow.

(maybe a way to turn that off would be a good quality of life improvement)

Is there some way that server mods and admins could be able to generate a credential that would verify their role for the purposes of creating spaces for mods&admins to collaborate?

Such a space could have a domain white-list.

fediblock is a good idea, but I avoid it since everytime I whisper that tag attacks roll in from every dark creepy corner of the fedi.

Until there is some kind of shared report ticket system a simple forum would help. #mastodonSuggestions
