データベースのマイグレーションとアセットのプリコンパイル。
プリコンパイルは一番メモリを食う作業――とはいえ2GBで大丈夫。1GBだと作業の大部分がスワップに入ってしまいます。

Update of the Mastodon App doesn't work propperly. Timeouts with every function. I'm looking up how to roll back and install the old client.

Just completed the 4.1.2 update. So far seems like everything is working. We created several scripts to automate the process to ensure the least amount of downtime possible. Also we applied 3 patches to the stock 4.1.2:
- Updated the length of posts to 1024 characters.
- Added the pending pull request to put server roles back into profiles: https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/pull/21393
- Added icon path to QR code for 2FA to point to the favicon. Not all 2FA apps support the image parameter but it's there for those that do.

Welp. Ran through all of the instructions to upgrade from 3.5.3 to 4.0.2. From multiple sites (the instructions were all basically the same). And I'm still on 3.5.3? At least the instance is still working. I don't understand at all what is happening. Anyone got a clue? #mastodon #mastodonupdate #help

@RoyGreenhilt @neauoire I have found that the new update that lets you follow #hashtags really helps to curate the home feed.

This was a very recent #MastodonUpdate and it will take time for servers and clients to update, but when you have it, it's a #gamechanger.

Check your #bio's folks. The last #update messed up something and many of you have a funny little 
 thing appearing randomly 

 in your text. Simply delete it. no biggy.

Nice to get to the computer this morning, open Edge browser to start the day and instantly notice some changes to the Mastodon instance here at androiddev.social and then look to find out that yep, the instance has been updated to Mastodon 4.0.2 as of last night/this morning!

Some really nice new features have been added to this build.
