New features in #MastodonV4 include API calls to interface with the reporting system; this could be a false positive on any of the buzzwords in that post. Even so, it exposes just how poorly that instance is moderated

So how does following hashtags work in mastodon v4? Do posts with that hashtag just appear on your home timeline?

Where can I see the featured hashtags? I can only seem to see my own and not other peoples'. I can only see other people's own when I'm not logged in.

Following hashtags is great - I no longer need a bunch of pinned columns in Advanced View to keep track of various interesting things.
