Does anyone know if there is an easy way to post to Facebook and Mastodon at the same time.

We currently use Hootsuite for Facebook and Twitter but this doesn’t post to Mastodon. We plan to stop posting to Twitter.

Has anyone gotten the #webfinger file in "/.well-known" on their #selfHosted #WordPress to work? Spent over an hour last night and couldn't get it. I know the ".htaccess" file needs modifying. #mastondonhelp

I'm finding following people on other instances a bit of a faff. Go there, copy their address, go back. If I'm trying to follow people that others already follow, that's a pain.

Also, isn't there a chance someone can create a copy of your account on another instance?

I have the "verification code" in my websites on my profile, but they are not coming up verified. I can see them in the source code. Am I supposed to do something else to get it checked? Do I just have to wait for the server to check somehow?

A friend is on ioc.exchange and we both get 503 errors when searching for the other (full handle, no typos). Is there a straightforward way to find out what's going on? #mastondonhelp

First strange issue encountered, trying to follow folks who are not in my local server.

On the web app, it asks you to sign up to the server they are in, but on the mobile app, the follow button on a profile just works fine.

What am I missing?
