federated chat protocol sounds like a bad idea, sending messages should be instant, but AFAIK it can take up to a minute to send one message to all recipients.

but still, I would love to hear more about matrix P2P, that could be awesome if they work out a problem that all parties of the chat have to be online for a message to be delivered and AFAIK they somehow fixed that

He usado Element-Matrix desde que era Riot. Ahora es una aplicación y servicio tremendamente maduro (excepto unas mañas por ahí), tanto, que incluso mi mamá la usa sin problemas.

Es un buen momento, como no había sentido hace un tiempo, para evangelizar a nuestros cercanos para devolver el poder del contenido a nuestras manos (cómo era antes de que los algoritmos invadieran los feeds) y sacarlo de las plataformas cuyo solo incentivo es mantenernos cautivos.

I also think it is a lot like how #Matrix #MatrixProtocol now has federated communities with their own admin structure that is transparent among homeservers. It would be cool because niches too small for a dedicated instance could have a space more specific than a common tag.

I don't know of any, but building one with ansible and a cloud hosting provider shouldn't be to hard. I am a #matrix user myself
