A-League Women’s fixtures have been released, and for a country that is on track to enter a record-breaking and debilitatingly (nay, dangerously) hot summer we sure are courting some really terrible health outcomes for these players. 3pm kick-offs? When peak temperatures are after 2pm? The number of usable hours for outdoor sports will rapidly diminish in the near future and sporting bodies seem entirely oblivious to this.
