One of the things I truly loved about Leiji Matsumoto's work was just how utterly devoid of logic it could be.

Train through the stars? Absolutely. Pirate captain piloting his ship by standing alone in the void at a ship's wheel taken directly from an 18th century tallship? Fucking yes.

I am surprisingly upset that he's gone.
