I support science and exploration. Humanity is meant to explore and to expand.

However, if science has evolved to a point where telescopes can be blasted into space on a regular basis (it has), providing a better view of the … then why build viewing stations on grounds considered sacred by Native Hawaiians?

At what point is the cost to those who see Mauna Kea as sacred… too high?

And this morning's lenticular clouds were AMAZING.
The biggest one looked like a giant whale, about to eat the full moon. 🥰 There were several in the sky at the same time! The geography of these giant mountains make some really interesting clouds and weather.
