Dass auch Kindern düsterere Tod-Figuren als in #Maurice zugemutet werden können, hat der zweite Teil von #DerGestiefelteKater perfekt bewiesen. Nichts schmerzt mich immer so sehr wie verschenktes Potenzial. In den Händen einer fähigeren Filmnation (warum kein Brite?!) hätte das ein Schlager mit vielen Fortsetzungen werden können. Nun ist es ein Film zum Vergessen geworden. Kinder werden es mögen, wer an die #Scheibenwelt denkt, wird schaudern.

#DeutscherFilm — stets bemüht und verkackt es dann doch. Wie #Maurice, wo selbst die #Scheibenwelt Vorlage von #TerryPratchett keine Chance mehr hat, obwohl ein #Shrek Autor mit am Werk war. Einfalls- und (viel schlimmer) zahn- und phantasielose 08/15 Inszenierung. Besonders bitter, wie solch zentrale Figuren des SW-Universums wie Gevatter Tod verhunzt werden. Man kann es nichtmal darauf schieben, dass die Filmemacher sich nicht entscheiden konnten, für *wen* sie den Film machen wollen. (1/)
